About the Author
Vivian French was best known at school for talking too much. She continued her attachment to words by becoming first an actor, then a storyteller and finally a writer of children’s books. More than 200 children’s books later, she now travels all over the world, telling stories and swapping ideas about books and writing... and, she admits, she still talks too much!
Joanne Partis graduated with a degree in Illustration and has since written and illustrated a number of successful picture books. Her friendly and appealing characters are full of charm and her bright bold palette and fresh style ensure that her profile as a children’s illustrator is constantly on the rise.
